2 Weeks left before Break!
I can't believe it's only two weeks until Christmas Break! This year is flying by! With cold weather upon us please make sure your child has a coat, hat and gloves here at school. We do take them outside even if it is cold. If you are unable to provide these items for your child please let us know :)
Gold Folder
Last week we sent home the gold folder with your child's midterm and CoGat scores. Please sign and return the midterm.
What's going on this week!
Reading - In both groups we are working on written comprehension. Mrs. Austin's class is working with non-fiction text with main idea and details. Mrs. Lippart's class is finishing up Sarah Plain and Tall and working on test taking strategies for reading passages.
Math - In math we are finishing up our Data Unit. We are giving our Data test tomorrow during math. Wednesday we will begin a new unit on perimeter, area, and angles. Your child will continue working on multiplication fluency and nightly math homework.
