Christmas Break
Free Meal Program Extended
As a result of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) extending COVID-19 flexibilities, Wylie ISD is able to offer FREE meals at no charge through the end of the school year at all school campuses and two curbside pickup locations.
Wylie ISD Student Nutrition Department will provide FREE meals at no charge to ALL students as part of the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) program sponsored by the USDA and the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA).
Free breakfast and lunch will be available for in-person leaners in the school cafeteria and remote learners through the curbside pick-up at the following two locations: Groves Elementary School and Hartman Elementary School from 12:00-1:00 Monday-Friday. All children 18 years or younger are eligible for the curbside pick-up meals at no charge. Documentation providing guardianship is required if a parent picks up meals without a child present: student ID, student ID number, report card, Skyward Family Access enrollment page, or birth certificate.
Curbside Pickup at Campus Locations:

1100 McCreary Road
Wylie, Texas 75098

A la carte items are not included with the free breakfast or lunch meal and will be available for purchase in the school cafeteria. The Student Nutrition Department encourages families to continue to submit meal applications for the Free and Reduced Meal Program so that qualifying students will still receive meal benefits for 30 days of the new school year or when USDA funds are no longer available.

"D’Anne Mosby was selected to represent Wylie ISD at the Texas Library Association Conference with an hour-long video presentation and Q&A. She will be sharing how the science classes regularly come to the library during the school day for makerspace projects that meet the specific TEKS being taught. The 50+ challenges created range from needing only basic supplies to techy fun. Each challenge has been team planned and taught between science classroom teachers and their campus librarian. Way to go, D’Anne!"
We are so incredibly lucky to have Ms. Mosby at Davis. She truly is the BEST.
