Important news from MCSD Food Service
Households currently receiving SNAP benefits will be identified through the Colorado Department of Social Services database. You will be notified through our food service office of your household’s pre - qualification. If you receive SNAP benefits and have not received a notice from our office, please call us immediately so that your student(s) benefits are not interrupted. Households who submit an application must submit a new application each school year on the current school year form. You will receive a written notification from our school food service department to notify you if your household does or does not qualify. If you do not receive notification within 2 weeks of submittal, we did NOT receive your application. All households incurring meal charges will be responsible for payment of those charges.
Please make sure that you notify your student’s schools of any address changes. We cannot contact you if we do not have your correct address and phone number.
If you have any questions please call Food Service (970)824-2160. You can always see what is for lunch on the moffatsd.org website under the parent portal.
