Thank You For Your Service
Jane Leeds served students, staff, and families in our community at Stonegate Elementary prior to opening the doors at BME. Jane was a founding team member at Boone Meadow, and built the library collection from scratch. She selected each item with care, and put her personal touch on programming for students and staff in our media center. She has served this community with grace and kindness over the years, and we wish her the very best on her next adventure in Brownsburg Community Schools as a preschool teacher. Yesterday, the staff presented Jane with a small token of our appreciation: a June Magnolia tree to be planted on campus in the spring. Thank you, Jane Leeds. You will always hold a special place in our hearts at Boone Meadow.
Steven Potaczek made an impact during his time with us this year. Known for his kind-heartedness and care to detail, Steven touched many of us in his short time here. Steven's multi-faceted talents draw him toward new adventures and teaching opportunities at Anderson University and Butler University. Thank you, Steven, for sharing your talents with us. We will miss you, and our door is always open for your visits.
When we return to school in January, we welcome two new faces to Team Meadow. We will share more information about our new teammates at that time.
Let’s Play! BME Family STEM Night!
January 23, 2019 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Mark your calendars to join us on Wednesday night, January 23 for the first ever
BME Cardboard Challenge.
Inspired by the annual Global Cardboard Challenge that takes place in October each year, our January Family STEM Activity is a Cardboard Challenge. Families are encouraged to get inspired and creative together. Turn the leftover cardboard and recyclable materials from the holidays into games and interactive activities. We will display and play the Family STEM projects in the gym on STEM Night. Teachers are also planning other interactive stations for the whole family to enjoy.
Please RSVP via this Registration Link. We want to be able to plan for enough space, materials, and volunteers for the evening. Looking for inspiration? Search for the Cardboard Challenge online or take time to watch one of these videos as a family! Caine’s Arcade (10 min. short film)or Caine’s Arcade News Clip (2 min.).

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR VISITORS
During the school day, all visitors must enter via the front door and sign-in at the front office. All visitors will be issued a visitor badge/tag to be worn inside the building at all times.

*ZCS thanks all volunteers for generous support of our youth and schools. Thank you, too, for supporting assurance of student and staff safety by completing and paying for a volunteer background check.
