Holiday Season Instruction
The focus for our final two weeks before a LONG winter break is instruction (16 days from Friday Dec 19-Jan 5). There are plenty of opportunities to make learning fun for the students, but complete reading blocks, math blocks and IE Brain Blocks should remain the focus.
As you plan holiday activities, strive to plan activities that are fun, cognitively demanding, AND aligned with curriculum goals. Learning can be fun at this time of the year and it should be. It can be WIN-WIN--Learning and Fun.
