Thanks to our amazing PTO, we have some new bike racks in our bike area. Please speak with your student about placing their bikes upright in one of the bike racks. By using the bike racks, and not laying the bikes down on the ground, we will be able to provide a safer area in and out of the gate.

Dear Gemini Families,

Enrollment (registration) has changed for the school year 2023-24. If your child is currently enrolled at Gemini Elementary you can begin the re-enrollment process now. Re-enrollment for returning students will be completed online through Focus. Log onto your Focus parent portal and follow the instructions below to re-enroll your child. Be advised that you will upload any necessary documents, such as proof of residency, directly into Focus. The student enrollment will be completed each year digitally on focus to capture the most up to date information. You will use the parent portal if any changes need to be made throughout the year.

A parent portal account is required to complete the online re-enrollment process. If you need to establish a Focus parent portal account, contact Tiffani Reynolds at 321-727-3090 X45005.

Our first milestone this week saw 3rd grader Addilynn Vermillion achieve 100 miles! Addilynn is running fast on the heels of her big sister and has lots more miles to run before the end of the school year. We love to see the Vermillions on the field every morning. Keep up the hard work!

Later this week Gemini’s fastest brothers 1st grader Austin and 4th grader Jackson Hain ran 300 and 400 miles! These competitive brothers ran their laps together in a race to crown the fastest Hain. Austin and Jackson are on the field every morning without fail and keep us all motivated and inspired. Awesome work guys!

Congratulations Team Gemini on a FIRST place finish in the Pirate Plunder! A huge thank you to everyone who came out. Let’s keep up the momentum with a big turnout for the last race in the series - the Run for the Gecko 5k on Saturday May 13. Youth registration is only $10 and every participant under 14 earns points for Team Gemini. Participants will also get credit for 25 straws / laps and a super cool charm for their necklace. Hope to see you there!

Morning Mile is FREE and all students at Gemini are automatically signed up. We hope you will come and join us 7:15-7:45 on the field just south of Gemini. No need to be on time, just show up anytime before the first bell. This survey is open to all parents of children with an IEP receiving ESE services from preschool age through grade 12. While demographic information must be collected in compliance with federal requirements, individual responses are confidential.
