Welcome Back!
We are excited for the 2019-20 school year, where #FamilyisCentral, our theme this year. We are focusing on celebrating the diversity of our community and learning from one another. Another focus is using our standards to guide us to provide relevant learning experiences for our students, where they will see how their learning applies to the real world. Personally, I am looking forward to meeting each of you and partnering with you to help your child have a wonderful experience here at Central. My name is Brandi Leggett. I have an open-door policy. Please feel free to e-mail me at bsleggett@olatheschools.org, come to the school or call the office. We are looking forward to a wonderful school year!

Updates to Central
- We had a new HVAC system put in the cafeteria and all the rooms in the 2nd-5th grade hallways.
- Visit our new "I Am" mirror hallway outside of the cafeteria. We really want students to believe in themselves. As we work on Social and Emotional learning, it will help students focus on continuing to see themselves in a positive way.
- We have a new sensory path in the K-1/CBR hallway and our 2-5 hallway. Allowing students a chance to move is key to their learning.
- By the office, there is a world map for us to celebrate where we are from. As we focus on celebrating diversity with our entire Central community - staff members, students, families and community members, please mark the map with one of the pins if where you are from is not already marked.
