Move-it March!
Get up and get moving! CIS Mental Health and Wellness
Welcome to March, it has been quite a Winter!
So far, here in El Paso the weather changes have been quite spectacular, especially seeing snow a few times this year. This is about the time of year that we all get antsy! Many of us are ready for summer nights around the bonfire, hiking, camping, swimming, making picnics, and just not having to bundle up! There are also many fun activities that you want to make sure to be part of. March brings us many opportunities to learn, celebrate and connect with others. Remember to always take care of yourself and make goals for a healthier lifestyle. It is never too late to start a new journey towards healthy living.
Tackle Hurdles Thursday
If you have a health/wellness/fitness hurdle, today is the day to think about how you will overcome. For me, it is always planning! For some, it is drinking water, for others it may be just starting a workout plan!
Fit-it-In Fridays
Does Friday seem to be the day you want to just sit and relax? Me too, so I am challenging you all to get in a little workout, grab some hand weights (or milk jugs), or just get outside/inside and move around. Get a few more steps, try to start your weekend with a workout!
Your Weekends
Anything goes for fitness on the weekends. Are you a hiker, shopper, gym enthusiast, skier, whatever your fancy. Give yourself points.
