The Park Media Center Movement
Media Center Memo
Media Center Mission
Gillespie Park Elementary Library declares a media center movement driven by our teaching-librarian philosophy, media specialist holds central the call to action and our mission to engage, educate, explore and empower. Through promoting and making accessible culturally relevant instruction, programming and utilization of multimedia materials we look to stimulate a reading revolution. By liberating literature on a daily basis we hope to create a culture where the amounts of books read and consumed will act as the catalyst to changing the world. The mission of the Gillespie Park Elementary Library Media Center is to engage, empower, explore and educate.
