Dear Ninety-One Community,

This week we celebrate our amazing Classified Staff! What a team we have here at Ninety-One! If you have a chance, please join me in thanking our crew for the amazing work they do every day for our students. Thank you to our Classified Staff!!

Next Monday, the 14th parents are welcome to walk students to class. In preparation for this we have a few details to communicate in order to safely maintain our car drop-off routine as well. If you are walking in a student in grades K-3rd, we ask that you please park in the lower lot. If you are walking in a student in grades 4-8th please enter through the front doors, closest to the office. We ask families to please not enter through the bus drop-off area in order to ensure safety for all. Walk-in drop-off will take place from 8:45-9:00. If you are arriving after 9:00, students need to please be checked in through the main office so that all students are accounted for in our attendance. This year we have been working on the safety and security of the building. We look forward to welcoming parents during AM drop-off from 8:45-9:00 and will secure doors and ensure attendance is accounted for following this opportunity to greet each other and walk students to class (please save longer conversations/questions for teachers for conference time). We look forward to seeing you!

For PM pick-up routines, we also welcome parents in upper pick-up to park in the upper gravel parking lot. If you opt to park in the upper lot, rather than wait in the line, please plan on getting out of your vehicle and going to the gate. A staff member will then call for your student (this will ensure we do not have students walking in front of cars). I welcome feedback next week as we get this all going and I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone! Please see more updates below!

Also, reminder, we do not have school this Friday as it is a Teacher Workday.

Go Bulldogs!

Warmly,

Joanna Tobin, Principal

Kinder Kick-off!

If you have a student who will be five years old by Sept. 1, then get ready for our Kinder Kick-offs! These events will be held in-person at each of our elementary schools and will help incoming students imagine a day in the life of a kindergartner. They’ll have a chance to tour the school, meet the teachers and principal, and even receive a welcome gift bag.

If you think a Spanish and English K-12 educational program might be right for your student, then please join the first kick-off on April 5 from 6-7 p.m. at Trost Elementary, Canby’s dual language immersion magnet school.

Otherwise check out your neighborhood school on April 12 from 6-7 p.m. If you need help determining which school your child should attend, use the Clackamas County Address Checker. Families are welcome to enroll their students ahead of time as registration is open online now.
