Physical Properties
Any characteristic of a material that can be observed or measured without changing the identity of the material
Examples:
- Color and shape
- Length and mass
- Volume and density
Physical changes
The property of a substance changes but identity doesn't.
Examples:
- Slicing bread
- Burning logs
- Eating food
Chemichal properties
A characteristic that gives the ability to undergo a change.
Examples:
- Reacts with light
- Reacts with water
Chemichal change
A change in the identity of a substance due to the chemichal properties.
