Suwanee Express
Week of December 16th
Here we go! 5 more days! I am so excited for us to head off and enjoy some very deserved restful time with our families and friends. We will wrap up our midyear district assessments on Tuesday and winter parties/concerts are Wednesday and Thursday. We tried to not schedule anything for Friday, so we can all take deep breaths and finish strong. :)
Remember to keep structure in the classrooms, stay patient :). and find the joy. We are in this together and have so much to be thankful for this holiday season. I count each of you as a major blessing. Make it a magical week!
Your Biggest Cheerleader,
Mary Taylor

Super Scoggins Important Deadlines about Grades
1. Grades must be posted before the end of the day on 12/20. This week you will be receiving reports from Synergy and the County if you have not posted grades. Just an FYI that these are not spam.
Click the links below for instructions on posting grades:
Elementary (not KK) Instructions
Current Grading Timeline:
- 12/20- Grades Finalized in gradebooks Friday before leaving for Winter Break.
- 1/3- LSTC Print Verification Sheets for teachers and place in mailboxes (teachers shred when done)- per GCPS we now have to roll to CH before printing report cards so cannot print actual report cards before like in past years.
- 1/7- Teachers make any changes to grades in gradebook and repost by the end of the school day- no more changes to grades for report cards after 1/7.
- 1/8 AM- LSTC Roll to Course History
- 1/9- Report Cards printed and in teacher mailboxes to go home on 1/10. Verification Checklist Guideline will also be in mailboxes for your convenience.
2. As you start entering DA grades, please choose District Mid Year/EOY for the category. We used District Interim for the tests in October and in December we are using District MidYr/EOY.
