William Felton "Bill" Russell (born February 12, 1934). West Monroe was strictly segregated the way all southern towns and cities were, and the Russells often struggled with racism. Russell received a major emotional blow when his mom suddenly died when he was 12. He was enshrined in the fiba hall of fame. his average points per game was 22.5. he got four nba rebounding champion awards. He got five "Most valuable player" awards.
