January Virtual Field Trips: Weekly/Thursdays @ 2:00-2:30 PM
- 1/7: Humane Society
- 1/14: Waste Treatment Facility
- 1/21: Alaska trip with Michelle Carton
- 1/28: Walking Art Tour/Florence Public Art Committee
Teachers - would you like me to help facilitate a specific trip for your class/what you're currently studying? Happy to help! Example: All 2nd grade students studied first responders and fire fighters, and then we did a grade-wide virtual trip to the Siuslaw Valley Fire & Rescue station (historically this has been a F2F field trip)!
Super exciting future trips this spring: we'll be investigating our grey whale migration with Carrie Newell, Depoe Bay marine biologist and whale whisperer, and we'll also touch base with professionals in Alaska and Baja to cover the entire migration route!
