Class Officer Elections
If you are planning on running for class officer, please read this entire email that was sent by Mrs. Jordan.
Qualification Requirements for Candidates: You must have an overall “B” average, both to campaign and to maintain an office (if elected). If your grades drop, you will be placed on probation for nine weeks. If you do not regain a “B” average after nine weeks, another student may fill your office. If your GPA falls below a “B” for a second time during the year, you will be asked to vacate the office.
Qualification Requirements for Candidates: You must not receive an “Unsatisfactory” citizenship grade in any class or more than one “Needs Improvement” grade per nine weeks. The terms for probation due to unacceptable conduct grades are the same as those described above for academic grades.
Qualification Requirements for Candidates: Holding class/club office is an honor. The highest level of character and integrity is expected from you. Violations of the trust placed in you as a candidate will subject you to being disqualified from running. Also, once you obtain an officer position you will be held to the same standard throughout your tenure. Violations are not limited solely to office referrals- any incident that could be construed as compromising the integrity of our school and your position as an officer is actionable.

For this reason, we expect only the best from you at all times. GRADES: You must take your report card to the sponsor every nine weeks to be checked within TWO DAYS of receiving your grades. OFFICERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES: Class officers will be assigned various duties to perform throughout the year. Each officer should be responsible for fulfilling these duties. If an officer repeatedly fails to do his/her assigned duties, the sponsor may elect to take disciplinary action at that time which may lead to the removal from office of that student.
