5 Days Until Summer Break!

OUTSTANDING FEES: If you still need to pay fees for extracurricular activities or lost library books, please play them ASAP! Students who still have unpaid fees will not be able to participate in Field Day on Thursday. If you would like to pay by card please visit the school store at the following link https://ascentutah.org/online_store?c=1684 You can also pay with cash or check in the office.
KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION: This year's kindergarten graduation will be held Wednesday, May 25th the school gym. The AM class graduation ceremony will be 9:00 - 10:00 am. The PM class graduation ceremony will be 1:30 - 2:30 pm. Refreshments will be served.
READ ACROSS AMERICA: The school wide Read Across America Program was super successful this year. Mr. Guggisberg’s 1st grade class won a pizza party for the most reading tickets turned in by one class. Way to go!! An award was also presented to one of our amazing third graders in Mrs. Arnold’s class for turning in the most reading tickets by one student. Keep reading over the summer. We will have another reading challenge next school year!
YEARBOOKS: The time to order yearbooks this year has passed. Mr. Christensen has stated that there will be some that you can purchase in the office on the day yearbooks are passed out; however, the book will cost $26 dollars instead of $20 and needs to be paid in cash or check at the office. There are a limited number to get so once they run out, they run out.
SUMMER READING PROGRAM: The Davis County Library's Summer Reading program begins Monday June 6, 2022. They have something for everyone - elementary age, young adult, and reading incentives for those 18+. There are loads of fun programs for children and young adults to attend that are all free. Plus, what a great way to encourage reading over the summer months. Beginning June 1, participants can access the reading trackers online or at their favorite Library location.
LOST & FOUND: The lost and found is cleaned out the last Wednesday of every month. The last Wednesday of the month the school year is this week, so please come and check the lost and found by Wednesday if you are missing something.

RISE TESTING REPORT: If you are interested in receiving your students' RISE individual student report, please click on the link below and complete the form. The reports will be available after July 1, 2022. 2023 SUMMER TRIP: We are very excited to announce that Mrs. Crandall will be leading a group of Jr. High students and parents on an educational tour to Washington, D.C., Gettysburg and Mt. Vernon next summer July 19 - 23, 2023. This is not an Ascent sponsored event.
