Job Description
Specialize in treating injury, disease, and deformity through operations. Using a variety of instruments, a surgeon corrects physical deformities, repairs bone and tissue after injuries, or performs preventive surgeries on patients. Surgeons will need to work for many hours everyday. Always under pressure.

A surgeon is responsible to correct the deformities, repair injuries, and treat diseases by performing surgeries. They are supposed to provide very efficient and effective surgical services to the patients.

Surgeons need to practice performing general or specialized types of surgeries. Surgeons spend time preparing for procedures, reviewing files and meetings. Surgeons need 2,000 hours of supervised clinical practice before graduation. Surgeons will
need 4 years on a undergraduate college, then 4 years of medical school. Finally 3 to 8 years in their specialty.

The college is located in Northern Michigan University,Marquette, MI. The Admission requirement is the ACT or SAT score test. Tuition costs is $26,090 for undergraduate out of state. It would be a good school because it is not far from IL and Biology is one of their best programs. In order to be a surgeon one of the Education Requirements is to complete the undergraduate school to earn bachelor's degrees.
