Of Mice and Men

Characterization is:
-What the character says
-What the character does
-How the character looks
-What others say about the character
-What the narrator tells us
Lennie
Lennie is a big guy. In the book he is often described like a bear, for example "he dabbled his big paw". He may be a big guy but he's a softie on the inside, he cares about other peoples feelings, especially George's feeling, and he wants to do his best to not get in trouble. He's often forgetful and George has to remind him about important information.
Curley
Curley is the villain in this book. He is the boss' son and has everything he could ask for: He has a secure job and a "purty" wife. Although he has this, he gets intimidated by big guys like Lennie. The moment he saw Lennie he threatened him. He has a huge ego. Other characters don't seem to like him, but put up with him because he is the boss' son.
Slim
Slim seems like a nice, hardworking man. Even though it's obvious that is curley's wife wasn't married to Curley he would go for her, he still doesn't cross the line. Other workers say that he does a good job at what he does.
