The Center for Scholarship Administration is proud to serve as the administrator of the following scholarship programs. The funds are provided through the generosity of corporations, foundations, individuals and trust funds.
All of these programs require that you submit information from other sources. It is imperative that you read the Guidelines and Instructions prior to starting your on-line application process so that you will have the information readily available. Please print this information. Answers to most of your questions will be covered here. After you read the Guidelines and Instructions you will be able to apply online for the scholarship of your choice.

John F Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum

Eligibility
The contest is open to United States high school students in grades nine through twelve attending public, private, parochial, or home schools; U.S. students under the age of twenty enrolled in a high school correspondence/GED program in any of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, or the U.S. territories; and U.S. citizens attending schools overseas. Past winners and finalists are not eligible to participate. Employees of John Hancock Financial Services and members of their families are not eligible to participate.
Requirements
- The contest deadline is Wednesday, January 6, 2016.
- Essays can be no more than 1,000 words but must be a minimum of 700 words. Citations and bibliography are not included in the word count.
- Essays must be the original work of the student.
- John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Edward M. Kennedy are not eligible subjects for essays.
- Essays must describe an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official that occurred during or after 1956, the publication date of Profiles in Courage. The official may have addressed an issue at the local, state, or national level. See Contest Information and Topic Guidelines and Helpful Tips for Writing Your Essay for more information.
- Essays about past recipients of the Profile in Courage Award will be disqualified unless they describe an act of political courage other than the act for which the award was given.
- Essays must have a minimum of five sources.
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program

Kittie Miss Fairey Educational Scholarship Fund

- Must have a combined SAT score of 1800 or a composite ACT score of 26
- Applicant's parents must have a household adjusted gross income of $40,000 or less
- Must be planning to attend a 4-year college or university in SC
SC Junior Golf Foundation Scholarship Program

The Gates Millennium Scholarship
Amount: Varies
The Gates Millennium Scholarship sponsors 1000 students who will be named Gates Millennium Scholars. The eligibility criteria is: 1) African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American 2) citizen/legal permanent resident of the U.S. 3) GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale 4) will be enrolling at a U.S. accredited college or university for the first time in the Fall after their senior year 5) have demonstrated leadership abilities 6) meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility status as determined by FAFSA 7) Submit all 3 required forms Apply online. The deadline to apply is January 13, 2016.

The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program - "A Constitutional Speech Contest"
Deadline: January 23, 2016
Amount: up to $2,000
Applicants must present a prepared oration of not less than 8 or more than 10 minutes on some phase of the Constitution of the United States which will give emphasis to the attendant duties and obligations of a citizen to our government.

Harry Hampton Fund Scholarships

- Harry Hampton Scholarship: $5,000/year up to 4 years($20,000) for students interested in majoring in natural resources disciplines of wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry, marine or environmental science.
- Wallace F. Pate Scholarship: One time $1,500 for students interested in majoring in natural resources disciplines of wildlife biology, fisheries biology, forestry, marine or environmental science.
- David M. Cline Scholarship: One time $2,000 for students who wish to further their education in law enforcement, criminal justice, or forensic science.
- James O. Thomason Scholarship: $2,000/year for up to 4 years ($8,000) for students who wish to further their education in print or photo journalism, advertising, public relations, or mass communications.

- Demonstrate excellence in character, ability, and enterprise to indicate that the student will make worthwhile contributions to society.

Aiken Electric Cooperative 2-year Touchstone Energy Scholarship

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior in the cooperative service area planning to attend a 2-year technical college.

Aiken Electric Cooperative Trustee Scholarship

A scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior in the cooperative service area. The student must complete the application and submit a 150-200 word explanation as to why the scholarship is needed.

Mid- Carolina Electric Cooperative Scholarship

- United States citizen

- Must be a senior graduation from a public high school in SC

- Must demonstrate leadership abilities
- Must need financial assistance

Lexington District One Office Professionals Scholarship
Amount: $600
Eligibility:
1. The student is a graduating senior who plans to attend an accredited two or four year institution in the fall 2016 term.
2. The student is pursuing a degree in a Business program (Computer Science, Advertising, Marketing, Accounting, etc.)
3. The student has maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA in high school.
4. The student is a United States citizen and a resident of South Carolina.
5. The student demonstrates though grades, character, and commitment a potential success as an office professional.
