What It takes to be a Silverline Dancer:
There is no height and weight reaquirements, you just have to have the knowledge to dance, have experience, and have a positive atittude at all times. If you are currently an 8th grader you can still try out, aslong as your next school year you attend must be C. C. Winn. For try outs you should wear comfortable clothing ex: jazz pants, shorts, sports top etc. To become a silverline dancer you will have to have the will to dance, willing to sacrafice your time, have a good positve atitude, be ready for criticism, pick up cheography fairly easily, MUST have right and left split, knowledge flips and turns, and have the chinese wood help. Also you must be passing all your classes. If you cant do the split you can still try out just be prepare to do extra strategies on try outs. For make up you must wear red lipstick, eye liner, mascara etc. Tryouts will begin in April. Silverline IS NOT A FALL ONLY SPORT ITS A YEAR ROUND THING.
