8. Most memorable experience as a teacher so far?
Being part of my A-level student’s graduation ceremony. It was an extremely proud and memorable moment especially as she achieved a first class honours degree in Business.
9. Funniest moment in your teaching career?
There are definitely too many to choose from. However, my favourite moment was bumping into a student on the plane and giving her revision lessons throughout the flight. Needless to say she wasn’t impressed! I still remember the look on her face!
10. The most challenging moment in your teaching career?
Moving abroad and leaving all our loved ones in Manchester. However, as a teacher there are always challenging moments but it's how we overcome them and learn from them that we grow in our profession.
11. Childhood hero?
My father who taught me to be strong and enjoy life.
12. If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be?
That’s a tricky question! I knew I wanted to be a teacher from a young age. I think otherwise I would have joined the family business back in Manchester.
