Parent Updates

Happy Sunday Python families. Below are some important updates for this week:

  • We had an amazing Veterans Day celebration this past Friday. Despite the rain, over 60 Veterans were present at the ceremony and it was our privilege to be able to honor them. (See below for a few pictures from this event).
  • Come join us for our November PTA Meeting on Monday evening at 7 PM in the library.
  • Fall Picture Retakes will be held on Tuesday, November 15th. If your child missed fall pictures due to absence or you would like a retake please have them ready to go for Tuesday. If you need more information regarding picture retakes please reach out to Jennifer Haggerty or Aracely Bultrowicz.
  • You should have access to your child's first quarter report card in ParentVUE. If you are having trouble accessing the report card or require a paper copy please reach out to Mr. Lani.

Purchasing A Charger for your Child's Chromebook

As many of you now know, the Chromebook assigned to your child is used daily at school and will be your child's educational lifeline should they need to participate in asynchronous learning. If your child's charger is lost or damaged you may purchase a new one though our Online Service portal on our school website: http://lcps.org/evergreen. Should your child's charger be deemed to be defective, LCPS will replace this free of charge. Below is a video with step by step direction on how to use our new Online Service Portal. If you have any questions please reach out to jessica.cruz@lcps.org or cassandra.marra@lcps.org.

Here is a video you can watch if you need to purchase a new charger. The cost for a new charger is $30.00.

EVERGREEN MILL FAMILY LIAISON - THANK YOU MRS. SHAFFI!

I want to take this time to extend my sincere thanks to Mrs. Ghazala Shaffi for serving as our Family Liaison since August. She greatly assisted in ensuring the first critical months of the school year went smoothly and her support to numerous Evergreen Mill families is greatly appreciated. Mrs. Shaffi has accepted a full time position in another organization in the community and we wish her all the best. We will be hiring a new Family Liasion for our school as expeditiously as possible.
