Principal's Message
Good afternoon CHS students and families,
We have hit the second half of the trimester, and fall sports are wrapping up. First, a huge congratulations to Kenzie Bigej for winning the Women’s CC league championships with a 5K time of 17:31.61. Our football team is playing for the league title tomorrow evening at Wilsonville High School. They will likely play on the road in the first round of state the following weekend, and Women’s Soccer is finishing strong and will likely represent CHS at the state level. Congrats to all fall athletes for all of their hard work!
I would also like to highlight the amazing arts department at CHS. Our award winning choir and band continue to make beautiful music. The band concert this past week was an amazing success. Our fall play, “The Tragedy of Macbeth” opens next week. Please see below for more information.
Lastly, I would like to share some great news. Our daily average attendance is 91%. We know that attendance is essential for students to succeed in school. Thank you students and families for prioritizing being in class. Keep up the great work!
Have a wonderful week!
Best,
Cari Sloan
