Welcome new staff!
Schuylerville Public Library welcome two new clerks to the team.
Beth Wrisley is a Schuylerville native who is very excited to be living and working in our community once again. She holds a Bachelor's in Geography from SUNY Geneseo and a Master's in Public Administration from Binghamton University. In the summer you can find her gardening and canning vegetables from her garden, and year-round you can find her consuming any type of media; books, TV, movies, music, and podcasts. Her favorite book genres include romance, contemporary fiction, and cookbooks. She loves to travel and her favorite destination she's gone to so far is the Baltic Coast off Finland.
Say hello to BrandiAnne Doe, our new library clerk at Schuylerville Public Library. Brandi was born in Saratoga Springs N.Y., spent the majority of her childhood living in Greenwich N.Y., and is a 2004 graduate of Fort Edward Union Free High School. She has been happily married for 11 years and has 2 children in the Schuylerville school district. She enjoys helping out in the community whenever and wherever she can. She has participated in Schuylerville's P.E.P (Parents as Educational Partners) program through the school, where she founded and ran the Sensory Club. She has been a girl scout leader and is currently the cheer commissioner and head coach for OSAA (Old Saratoga Athletic Association). While she loves to read and listen to a variety of books, her favorite genres would have to be Adult/Young Adult horror, fantasy and romance. When not at the library helping with the Counting Down to Kindergarten program, she can be found in her garden, with her kids or walking her dogs.
