Good afternoon,

I hope everyone is having a great week. I am so proud of how hard our students have been working. I have spent a lot of time in classrooms this week, and it has been such a joy to see our teachers and students having fun and engaged in learning.

As you have probably heard, Conroe ISD has been moved to a Covid Safety Alert Level 4. I am hopeful that this will last for a short time and we will be able to return back to our normal operations very soon. We will continue our lunch sign up process but unfortunately will have to limit parent volunteers in the building.

The Parent University scheduled for January 26th is being canceled. This will give us time to collect survey data and utilize your input beginning in February.

If you are interested in your child participating in the local Montgomery County Fair Contest, Mrs. Beardsley has a form for you to download. This is an optional contest and if your child wants to participate, you are responsible for the entry cost and for the supplies.

The students are allowed to start on it in class with the supplies that Mrs. Beardsley has, but It is entirely up to the student if they want to participate. Parents will be responsible for taking the art up for art submission and cover the financial cost of the entry fee.

As a reminder our school doors do not open until 7:30 AM. We ask that you do not drop off your child before that time as they will be on the front porch unattended.

• Please remember to remind your children not to cross until the crossing guards are at their posts in the morning.
• A picture of your child's barcode on your phone will not work for car rider line. We have to scan each barcode, and you need the actual print out.
• Please do not drop of children on Crownridge Drive at the school path. If you are in car line the children should remain in the vehicle until they are at the front of the school.
• While driving, allow crossing guards to cross children and to return to the sidewalk before driving through the crosswalk.
• Cell phones should not be used while in the school zone.
• No dogs are allowed on school property.
  
• U-turns are not allowed on Crownridge Drive.
• Please do not sit on the curb or allow your children to play in the street.

The safety of our students and staff is of the utmost importance. All Lost and Found items are located in the gym. Please encourage your children to take a look if they are missing any items. Please remember to label all items clearly with your child’s name. Also don’t forget to label water bottles, backpacks, and any other personal item
