Virtual Classroom Fun
Casey Russo, a criminal prosecutor came to Mrs. Gerlach’s class today to help the students prepare for their Mock Trial based on the Tell Tale Heart. She provided a lot of insight on preparing for a trial, the not guilty by reason of insanity plea, and being a lawyer in general. It was a great class!
Next week in the actual mock trial!

You may be wondering... How is ProgressBook different from Schoology?
Schoology is the learning management system teachers use to post daily assignments, grades, & other class resources. Monitoring your child's progress throughout the school year can be done through Schoology, where ProgressBook is the site used to view report cards at the end of each grading period. In case you're interested, here are some district-provided parent resources for Schoology.

See Something, Say Something
At times, social media can fuel rumors of threats toward our schools or individuals. When school administration is made aware of any such allegation, it is thoroughly investigated in collaboration with law enforcement, and appropriate legal counsel. The outcomes of these investigations are not a matter of public record.
We offer a number of avenues for students and parents to provide information to us. If you or your child has been directly affected by an incident at school, you may do any of the following:
Call or email an administrator, school counselor, or other trusted adult.
Submit a report via Stay Safe. Speak Up app or website or call 1-866-LISTEN-2-ME.
Questions? We can help!
The communications department has created a “who to contact” page for the public in an effort to direct questions to the individuals who can provide the most complete and timely answers. View the Who to Contact page.
