Our Promise
Every student in Dallas School District is known by name, strength, and need, and graduates ready for career, college, and community.
Sometimes not adding anything new is adding something new!
One of the biggest focal points, especially for this school year has been to not necessarily add anything new. Though we now have our Character Strong and for most, we have our Seesaw portfolios, these are the next steps and fit into what our goals have been these past years! I am learning so much from you all this year as we walk a little bit further into our social-emotional learning and character development through Character Strong and as we look to make our learning more meaningful and visible through our continued portfolio work! Again not anything really new, but definitely require next steps to increase our capacity and work to make sense of it all!
It is impressive how you all work for the best interest of our kids. So many great ideas have come from taking basic concepts and practices like kindness and how we as a building have expounded upon those ideas to help create a more positive culture. Though sometimes it feels like we are moving quickly, I realize the work that you all do is not easy and it requires us all to support one another through growing as professionals and as a building!
Proud of the work that you are doing!
Glad you're here!
