Walled Lake Northern Homecoming Parade
We'd like all elementary schools to make a poster, or bring a banner or flag with their school’s name on it. Students will hold the posters while walking in the parade. We will also be providing “Future Knight” shirts for those students who attend! For each school that is participating, we ask that parents accompany their students to ensure that the parade runs smoothly!
The lineup will start at 5:00 and the parade will officially start at 5:30. We ask that all students arrive at 5:00. When your students begin to arrive, please tell them to meet on the North side near the picnic tables. There will be various signs placed around the school to help you locate where you need to go. We will direct each school to where they will be walking in the parade (this will be behind the class councils floats, towards the end).
This will be a great way for all of our elementary schools to get excited for their future at Walled Lake Northern High School. We look forward to seeing you there!
If your child is interested in participating, parents must walk with the child in the parade for supervision reasons. Please sign up to participate using the Google Form linked below. I will share this information with WL Northern to help them prepare.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
All families that are picking up students at the end of the day must sign up for Car Rider or Shamrock Pick-Up this school year. Signs from previous years will not work as we are running a different system this year. If you have not signed up yet and gotten yellow 2021-22 dismissal signs, please call our office.
As a reminder, if your child's normal dismissal routine changes for the day, our office needs to be notified no later than 3:30.

PTA Flower Sale
Who wants to slime the principal?
Join our fall fundraiser or make a donation to win a chance to slime Ms. Bigi! We will have classroom prizes, prizes for our top sellers, and prizes for other participants!
The sale runs from August 30th-September 12th. Flowers will picked up on September 27th. Look for more information on our Dublin PTA Facebook page. Forms will be sent home on Friday, August 27 or Monday, August 30.
Authorization to Administer Medication Form
If your child needs to have medication administered at school, parents must complete an AUTHORIZATION to ADMINISTER MEDICATION FORM. We must have an updated form each school year.

Students are also able to bring lunch from home. This year students will be able to bring a lunch box if that is preferred over a paper bag.

HEALTH SCREENING BEFORE YOU COME TO SCHOOL
We continue to urge all families to check your child's health daily and make decisions that will help ensure we keep our students, staff, and community healthy and safe.
Daily Health Checks: Please check your child(ren) daily for ANY signs of illness before attending school. Check for the following symptoms:
- Fever/Chills
- Cough
- Fatigue
- Shortness of breath/difficulty breathing
- Muscle of Body Aches
- Headache
- New loss of smell or taste
- Sore throat
- Congestion
- Runny Nose
- Nausea or Vomiting
- Diarrhea
If your child has any of these symptoms, please err on the side of caution and keep them home until they are feeling better! We appreciate your partnership as we continue to work together to keep our community healthy and safe!
