Please read through all the following information!
Registration Information
Returning students are already listed in our Aspire (SIS) system and can be registered online using a computer or tablet. Unfortunately, our registration system does not work effectively on cell phones.
We will email registration links out next week or you can log on to our website any time and click the registration button beginning next Thursday. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Click REGISTRATION Button on our home page (springlake.nebo.edu)
2. Click "COMPLETE ONLINE PORTION" button
3. Choose "CURRENT STUDENT REGISTRATION" and "I already have an aspire account"
4. Click "Login and Register Student"
5. Log in to Aspire using your current username and password.
6. Follow the instructions in the system.
If you have forgotten your username, you will need to contact the school. We suggest doing that prior to the 25th. As a reminder, we will not be open on Friday, July 26th.
WE WILL BE OPEN FOR WALK-IN REGISTRATION ON MONDAY, JULY 29TH FROM 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. WE WILL HAVE CHROMEBOOKS FOR PARENTS TO USE AND WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ANSWER QUESTIONS.
We are looking forward to the 2019-2020 school year! Please read the rest of this newsletter for more important information!
DO YOU HAVE A CHILD ENTERING KINDERGARTEN?
1. Official birth certificate
2. Complete Immunization Records

We URGE YOU TO BRING IN THIS PAPERWORK BEFORE JULY 25TH! Parents who wait until the 25th to bring in this paperwork will then have to wait until the following week before they will be able to register online.
STUDENTS CAN NOT BE ASSIGNED TO A CLASS OR TRACK (AM/PM) UNTIL REGISTRATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
Why does the school ask for a $25 donation?
Here's what your donation covers:
ALL school supplies for the entire year (students are not required to bring their own supplies)
ALL field trips (entrance fees, bus costs, snacks, etc.)
ALL Assemblies
ALL School-Wide Activities (Veterans Assembly, Turkey Trot, Suess-A-Palooza, Pool Day, etc.)
ALL in-class parties and projects
Birthday recognition for students
Student of the Month rewards and activities
Hawk Buck rewards, drawing and activities
Weekly "TACO" Bout Kindness awards
And much more!
Last year our overall donations were down significantly compared to previous years (we received donations for only about 47% of students). Because of this, teachers did not receive as much money for their individual classrooms, we weren't able to provide pizza for our student of the month recipients, we did not do Val-Grams for Valentines and we had to cut some activities and assemblies during the year.
We are hoping to bring our donations back up this year. If you have several children and need to spread out paying the donation to make it affordable, you are welcome to do so. Donations can be accepted at any time throughout the year.
Thank you in advance for helping with a donation for your child so that we can continue to provide needed programs and supplies for our students.
