9th grade students

Recent Events

9th graders were visited by counselors in their Math classes last week. Counselors gave students tips for being successful in high school as they navigate their path to graduation. Students now know what credits are required for graduation. They also understand the impact of failing a class and how it affects their path to graduation. Students were advised to check Canvas/SIS daily. They were also advised to turn in ALL work, even if it's not perfect or complete; "some points are better than no points". Other tips were related to organization, attendance, involvement, and using counseling resources when necessary.

Navigator.Kuder.Com

All 9th grade students created an account on Navigator.Kuder.Com

Navigator.Kuder is a college and career website where students can search for careers, college programs, and scholarships. They can also manage their own high school portfolio, where they can upload awards and recognition, job experiences, and more! Students can build resumes and even create a 4 year plan of high school courses to help them develop a path to graduation! Counselors will use this website throughout the 4 years that these students are at WHS. Students are welcome to use their account anytime and use the resources of this website.

Ask your student if they created their account. If they need to create an account, please use the instructions below.
