Preview of the book
In this book a man named Odysseus goes away to war and is cursed to not be able to come back for a long time. In the time he is gone suitors keep after his kingdom and wife. After 20 years he finally returns, but is disguised. He fights the suitors along with his new-found son Telemachus. When his is done his wife doesn't believe it's him until he moves a bed frame built by his hands.
The good, the bad, and the Odyssey
In this book I like how they associate mythical creatures into the story. Also I like how they took a twist and disguised Odysseus when he returned. Although, I wasn't a big fan of how short the entries with the sea monster and sirens were. I don't understand the ending it was a little confusing as well as some other parts.
Recommendations?
I most likely won't recommend the book to my friends, but to mythology lovers this book is a good one. This contains a little mystery, suspense, and has it's own twist so what mythology lover wouldn't love this?
