Schoolkidz School Supplies!
Mrs. Crigler worked closely with all of the elementary teachers several weeks ago to put this together and find the best value products for the items requested by teachers. Avoid the craziness of back-to-school shopping in August and get it done now by ordering through Schoolkidz!
How cool is the flyer that came home this week? Everything your child needs for a successful 4th grade year has been hand-picked for you already. All you need to do is order online or return your child's order form by May 11th!
If you complete this online, please make sure to choose the correct kit based on your child's grade level next school year.

HELP THE DESTINATION IMAGINATION TEAM GO TO THEIR COMPETITION
Mrs. Millar and her students have come up with a few VERY creative fundraising ideas to raise money to go their DI competition. Luckily, we have some super supportive administration members ready and willing to (literally) offer themselves up to help! Send your kindergartener in with a few dollars next week and they can buy...
- The chance to spray Mrs. Campbell with a full water gun for just $5
- A piece of duct tape to attach Mr. Sener to a wall for $1
- A raffle ticket for the chance to win a basket of goodies for $2
- The opportunity to splatter paint at the last blast carnival for $5
We are finishing learning about Famous American citizens: Eleanor Roosevelt, Mary McLeod Bethune, Cesar Chavez, Frederick Douglass, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Lyndon B. Johnson standing up and fighting for all citizens' Constitutional rights! We will have a Test over all these people on Friday, May 8. Study Guide Packets will be sent home.
We are in the middle of Chapter 9: Energy and its forms! We are learning all about how energy changes and what types of energy we use for certain things in our lives.
We are learning about Time. Next week we will focus on converting hours to minutes and vise versa. We will also focus on Elapsed Time, which I believe is one of the most challenging aspect of time to learn. However, I am excited to dig into this with them!
