Our 6th graders are back from camp and we're so glad they had such a wonderful time! Word on the street is that camp staff were raving about our awesome PennPanthers and how wonderfully behaved they were! Way to represent!
Thank you to those who were able to walk to school with us last week! With this weather getting increasingly more beautiful, I'm hoping to see more walkers, more often!
The parenting resource I'm sharing this week is low-cost on-line parenting workshops! Check it out!
Stay awkward, brave and kind!

Question of the week from Principal Harp
We got 7 responses last week!
HELP US GET MORE THAN 10 RESPONSES THIS WEEK!!
Each week, I will be sending out a question with which you will be given the opportunity to engage in a new conversation with your child. We all know how hard it is to draw out responses other than, "nothing" or "fine" when we ask "What did you do today?" or "How was school?" Be sure to use open ended follow-up questions and statements such as "Tell me more about that!" or "What did you think of that?" Please ask your student(s) the question below, share their response with us and make our day! You can submit more than one response! (No need to put names or identifying words.)
Below is our Behavior Flow Chart. This helps staff determine next steps when there is undesired behaviors. NOTE: all responses are on a case-by-case basis depending on the student's needs and the behavior, and steps may be skipped or altered to meet the needs of the situation.

A Message From David Rabbitt - Supervisor, Second District, County of Sonoma
Dear Community Member,
I would like to personally invite you to share your feedback on traffic in Penngrove at a townhall meeting. The event will also include an option to watch and share feedback online.
I will be joined by county transportation officials from the Public Infrastructure Department as well as staff from the GHD Consulting, which is conducting a Penngrove area traffic study. The county initiated the traffic study to identify potential improvements that address congestion, mobility, safety and regional growth.
The County is committed to finding solutions that respond to community concerns about traffic and safety on roadways in and around Penngrove. Community engagement is key to this process so that community members and stakeholders have an opportunity to share concerns, be informed and provide comments.
What: Penngrove Traffic Study Townhall
When: May 4, 5:30 p.m.
