The Beck Paw Print
Week of 8.25
A Message from Your Principal
Beck Families,
If you are new to Beck Junior High, WELCOME! I am motivated and inspired for this school year in meeting a lot of kids and parents these past few weeks. The best part of Beck are the people! The people inside the building and those in our families, make all the difference. It is with this partnership, that we are cultivating the future! I’m thrilled to continue building this relationship with you for the betterment of Beck and our students' lives.
We are excited to have an open house next week and have you come walk your students' schedules. Teachers will be in their classrooms to give you a high level view of their course for this school year and PTA will be in the practice gym selling spirit wear.
The sound of students in the hallways is pure joy! Also, the excitement of our extracurriculars starting up and seeing students having fun is always a blast. Thank you for sending your students to school each day so we can love them and share in their growth.
This will be a great year!
Every Student, Every Teacher, Every Classroom…. Every Day!
Bringing it back to Beck: Stronger Together!
Dr. Leah Radloff

It is Katy ISD's responsibility to identify and evaluate students who within the intent of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 need special services or programs in order that such students may receive the required free appropriate education.
A student who may need specialized instruction or programs within the intent of Section 504 is one who:
- has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of life's major activities; or
- has a record of such impairment; or
- is regarded as having such an impairment.
Students may be eligible under the provision of Section 504 even though they do not require services pursuant to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Parents who believe that they have a child who may qualify for special services or programs under Section 504 should contact either Kevin Weber (Grade 6), Lindsey Volney (Grade 7), or Dan DeYoung (Grade 8) which are the campus 504 coordinators for Beck Junior High.
