Time (Approximately 18 minutes)
Introduction
During the school day, you would choose a book from your book box, classroom library, or a book from EPIC! to read to and with a classmate. Reading to and listening to a friend or an adult read helps you with your reading comprehension and helps you improve your reading fluency to become a stronger reader.
Instruction
As you read, be sure to listen to signal words that tell you when the order of events happens. Who are the characters? When and where is the story happening? What is happening? Why is the event happening? How is the problem solved?
