Report Cards
I= The student has not turned in work or has turned in minimal work (not enough to provide a rating of Pass) during remote learning.
P= The student has provided sufficient evidence for passing during remote learning.
Your child's teacher should have already contacted you if your child may get an Incomplete. Students will receive a passing grade if they completed 60% of the learning activities in their subject areas. If not, then an Incomplete will be documented.
Please note that an Incomplete does not mean a student has failed. It simply is to document the learning engagement during Remote Learning this Spring. All students will be moving onto the next grade level next year.
OLSAT Testing for Grades 2nd and 5th
This group-administered multiple-choice test measures reasoning skills including verbal, non-verbal, spatial, and quantitative reasoning measures abstract thinking. This gives educators insight to go along with achievement testing. Millburn often uses as a universal screener for gifted programs. This assessment was given in February.
After receiving your report, if you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Stream at nstream@millburn24.net.
Virtual Field Day
We are excited to announce our 2020 Virtual Field Day that will take place on May 26th and 27th. Next week we will be sending the event cards as well as what supplies and equipment you might need. All of these things can be found around the house. During the event times we encourage you to try one or all ten of the events that are shared with you. We will have a Padlet page that you will be able to upload pictures and videos to so that we can share our experience together! We hope for this to be a fun way to end this school year!
