Cell Phone/Smart Watch use at school
Students are prohibited from using personal electronic devices such as cell phones, smart watches, (including children's smart watches such as Gizmos, Garmin, etc.) during the school day. If they are brought to school, the item must be turned off and stored in their locker, cubbie or backpacks. Parents and students should refrain from texting and calling each other during the school day. If you must relay a message to your child, please contact the office. If your child is sick or needs to speak with you, please follow the safety guidelines and have them come to the health office or main office to reach you. If students choose to use these items outside of the guidelines, they will be taken and held by the teacher or office to the end of the day.
When a student feels ill they must come to the health office first and the health staff will contact the parent if necessary. This helps to best monitor the health-related illnesses within our building.

2020 Census!
Dear Parents & Guardians,
The 2020 Census is approaching and we want to provide you with some information regarding completing the census and why it is important to our community. You should start receiving information mid-March regarding the census. The census can be completed online, by mail, over the phone, or someone will stop by your house in person to complete it. The census is available in several languages online and in many others over the phone.
Census information is 100% confidential, does not ask any identifying information, such as social security number, and it does not ask citizenship status.
The census counts everyone in the United States. Census results are the basis for congressional representation and help determine how more than $675 billion in federal funds is distributed each year to support vital programs in states and communities across the country. These funds shape local health care, housing, education, transportation, employment, and public policy.

Estimados padres y tutores,
