Texas College Bridge (11th & 12th grade)
With Texas College Bridge, high school juniors and seniors can take online college preparatory courses, strengthening their English and math skills prior to enrolling in college and setting them on a path to postsecondary success. Texas College Bridge courses are personalized, self-paced and teacher facilitated—allowing students to focus on skills they need and skip those they have already mastered, with teacher support along the way. Students receive additional support and resources to help them complete college transition milestones.
EdReady (9th & 10th Grade)
Math and English skills are key to college and career success. EdReady helps you identify gaps in your knowledge and learn at your own pace to reach your goals.
Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0
The Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) is a series of placement tests for students enrolling in public colleges and universities in Texas. The tests help Texas schools determine whether you’re ready for college-level courses in the areas of reading, writing, and math. When students passed the TSIA2 assessment in high school, they are able to enter into college level coursework instead of developmental courses during their freshman year of college.

College Awareness Tips for Parents
College will offer your student countless opportunities in life. There are some simple things you can do to help your student prepare.
Start early.
- No matter how young your student is, it is never too early to begin planning for college and talking with your student about it.
- Communicate your expectations to your student about his or her behavior and performance in school.
- Have frequent conversations with your student about schoolwork, goals and the importance of education.
- Motivate your student to try new activities, volunteer in the community and succeed in school. Studies have shown that students involved in school activities enjoy school more and do better academically. Extra activities at school help students make new friends, gain confidence and new skills and have fun!
