Attendance Matters
Tardy
If a student is not present in the class/ shop at the time attendance is taken in the morning, they will be marked tardy and will have to report to the main office for a tardy pass. Accumulation of excess tardies as defined in the student handbook will result in disciplinary action. Being on time is an employability skill. Cape Cod Tech not only trains students in skills specific to their technical area but CCT also teaches professionalism and employability skills to the standards of the industries in which they represent.
Please see below a quick link to our attendance policy as well as other important information about attendance.

Not sure how to use the Community Portal?
Click here for a link on how to use the Community Portal. This is a step-by-step guide on how to use our SchoolBrains Community Portal. Just follow the directions to access your student's grades, report cards, attendance and discipline reports.
Please Complete Forms Below
Below this section, you will find some forms for you to complete and information to help your student and your family to navigate the year. The emergency form is essential for your student. It allows us to distribute OTC medication and reach other contacts in case of an emergency. In the past, we would have parents complete this on paper. This year we have an easier electronic form. Below the emergency form, you will find links to other forms and documents. For ones that you need to submit, please either print or make a copy, complete the form, sign it, and send it in with your child. If you have any questions, please let us know at 508-432-4500 ext 2000

COVID-19 School Update from DESE
Per the recommendation of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Cape Cod Tech will not be instituting a mask mandate or requiring individuals to wear masks for the upcoming year, however masks must still be worn in the nurse's office. Members of our community may decide to wear a mask, or not wear a mask, for any number of reasons. Faculty and staff will support students through this transition and ensure that each personal decision is treated with respect.
Any asymptomatic student who was exposed to a COVID-19 positive individual, regardless of vaccination status, will not be required to stay home. Additional guidance regarding isolation, exposure and symptoms can be found on the www.capetech.us website.
At this time the district, local and state health departments strongly recommend that all staff and students receive a COVID-19 vaccine to protect themselves from the effects of COVID-19. It is also recommended that staff and students get their flu shots to further reduce the spread of illness and keep students and staff in classrooms.
