A man who not only proved Copernicus' the theory correct, he stated that the planets move in an elliptical orbit.
Galileo Galilei
A man who improved the telescope and perfected the Scientific Method.
How did the change impact society at the time?
People didn't believe the theory because it was against the religion the practiced. It took time for the people to appreciate what they did. Now we understand.
How is that change evidenced in today's modern society?
Without the Scientific Revolution, we would come to school to learn false information. Science is an important subject we have to know.
