Welcome back to the weekly! We enjoyed another week at TMHS!

It's Fall Finals Week! Please help us prepare your students for a successful finals week. The schedule is posted below including the all-important review sessions for each particular class period. Let's make it a great week by arriving to school on time, squeezing every last ounce out of each class session, and knocking the exams out of the park!


Final Exam Week - IMPORTANT TO NOTE!

Our Fall Final Exams are held the week of December 13-17th, with the full schedule below.

On Thursday, December 16th, students are released at 11:50, but our TISD buses will not pick students up until the normal time at 2:50. In addition, lunch will not be provided for any students who stay on campus to ride the bus home at 2:50. Students who do not want to wait for the bus at 2:50, need to arrange for transportation or may walk home if desired.

On Friday, December 17th, students are released at 11:50 and our TISD buses will run at that time.

Final Reviews and Exam Week Procedures and Reminders

  • Schedule - Please see the attached schedule for all exam dates and times.

    • All students are expected to complete the exam at their scheduled time.

    • Seniors with late arrival and early release need to check their exam/review times!

    • NO exams may be given early.

    • Double blocked classes will take their exam during one specific period that will be predetermined by the teacher.

  • Procedures / Notes

    • There are no exemptions for final exams during the Fall Semester.

    • Students must remain in their testing period after completing their exam. Students will not be allowed to leave the room after testing for any reason. This is not the time to visit a coach/teacher, the trainer, their counselor, etc.

  • Absences / Missed Exams

    • Any student that misses an exam will have a “Zero” recorded in the gradebook until the make-up is complete.

    • Semester exam make-ups will be at the direction of the teacher. Every effort will be made to complete exams prior to the grade submission deadline on December 17.

    • Students that miss an exam due to a documented absence will be given an opportunity to make it up by their teacher either later in the December exam week or the week of our return to school in January.

    • If no other arrangements can be made, the last possible day to make up a Fall Semester exam will be Saturday, January 8th from 7:30-11:30am. More information will be given to students in January.

  • If you have a request for an extenuating circumstance regarding a final, please speak to the student’s Assistant Principal or Ms. Hayes about the situation. This includes leaving after testing or other unique circumstances.

Students: It is imperative that you are on time for school and each class so you can set yourself up for success, earn credits, and not lose any possible exemptions!


Per College Board PSAT/NMSQT results will be released electronically on December 7, 2021.

How to Access Your Scores:

If you provided your email address on your answer sheet on test day, you'll receive an email notifying you of when your scores are available.

The email will have a unique access code that will connect you to your scores online. If you haven't already done so, you'll be asked to set up a free College Board account before you can view your scores.

Spring Semester Schedule Changes:

While it is too late to make elective schedule changes, you can make level changes at this time (ie. moving from TAP/AP/DC to on level). Please click on the appropriate link below to notify your counselor of your requested change. Please be aware that multiple classes, teachers, and lunches could change. Requests must be received by January 7th at 3 PM. However, we encourage you to let us know as soon as possible so that your student’s schedule will reflect the changes requested on the first day of the second semester of school. This is the last opportunity to make level changes for this school year.

Graduation! TMHS Class of 2022 Graduation ceremony will be held at Reed Arena on the campus of Texas A&M on Friday, May 27 at Noon. Please note the time change to Noon!

TMHS Choir!

Congratulations once again to our ten choir students who participated in Pre-Area Auditions on Tuesday, November 30. We are so proud of all of them! They worked so hard and represented our school and choir well.

A huge good luck to our three Area candidates who will be auditioning in January! Carson Dudley (Soprano 1, 2nd Alternate), Huy Ngyuen (Tenor 1), and Yerim Colin (Bass 1).

JROTC Wreaths Across America

Tomball Memorial HS Marine Corps JROTC is fundraising through Wreaths Across America. Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths. Student Safety

The recent events in Michigan remind us that is ever important to communicate that the safety and security of our students is always our top priority. While many plans and preventative measures are strategically worked through and adjusted on a continuous basis, we want to share much of that with each of you. The attachment linked HERE is a parent guide outlining the processes used district-wide in regard to emergency situations. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the guide and reach out with any questions you may have.

Student Cell Phone Reminders

The district permits students to possess personal technology devices for safety and educational purposes; however, these devices must remain silenced during the instructional day, and shall only be used in accordance with all guidelines established in the Tomball ISD Digital Resources Acceptable Use and Internet Safety Policy. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Cell phones may be used during class for instructional purposes and in accordance with each teacher’s guidelines. Please note that teachers may choose to prohibit cell phone use in their classrooms.

- Cell phones may be used before and after school, between class periods, and during lunch as long as students follow TISD acceptable use guidelines.

Student Dress Code

Thank you to all of our parents and students for helping keep our campus in dress code!

We will continue to enforce our dress code policies per the TISD Student handbook with an emphasis continuing on the following items:

- All students must wear clothing that adequately covers the body. Shorts and/or skirts must reach the mid-thigh. Spaghetti straps, strapless, backless, see-through and low-cut tops are not allowed. Tops must cover the midriff.

- All male students must be clean-shaven and may not display any piercings including the ear.

- Students are not allowed to wear hats, bandanas, or other head coverings.

- Student hair must be that of natural color. Students that need to address this particular portion can meet with their Assistant Principal to discuss a solution and timeline.
