Tips to Clear Print Jobs from Laptops
- select the copier you printed to at the bottom of the dock
- select "X" on all the jobs listed to clear all the jobs
- shut down your laptop and restart laptop OR log out and back in your laptop
- wait 10 seconds, login and attempt to print from copier
Login to Your Laptop Every Morning
Issues I have had with printing usually begin with me putting my password in the "locked" screen, not the login screen. See the differences in the photos below.
Not Log In Screen, Just Locked
This is the screen we get when we close the lid of our laptop. I am guilty of closing my lid at home, coming here and putting in my password...I am not connected to the copiers when I do this.
Log in Screen, but looking to Connect to Our Server
I do not log in here...this is when I wait the ten seconds. If I log in when this is up, I will not be able to print to the copiers.
Log in Screen, This is What I Need to Log in to Every Morning
If I log into this screen, I am connected to our server and should be able to print documents. The only time I would not be able to print would be if I have documents "stuck" in my printer list and I have not cleared the list.
