Welcome Melissa Callahan and Nicole Jones
Welcome Rick Santiago
Please join me in welcoming our new Dean of Students at Magowan, Rick Santiago. He already knows that we are excited for his arrival. I will be introducing him to students during the lunch periods tomorrow. Feel free to invite Rick into your rooms as he begins to learn more about the building and students. I asked Rick to introduce himself. Please see his welcome below.
Good morning,
My name is Rick Santiago. It is my great pleasure to introduce myself as the new Dean of Students at Magowan Elementary School. Before coming to Magowan, I received my bachelor's of arts degree from Rutgers University-Camden. The past school year, I worked as a substitute teacher in the Berlin Twp school district at John F. Kennedy Elementary school, Willingboro High, Willingboro Memorial Middle and Holy Cross Prep Academy. I have also worked as a substitute in the Camden, Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Medford and Stratford school districts. Additionally, I am a football coach at Holy Cross Prep Academy in Delran. I have a tremendous passion for working with young people to help them achieve their goals and become great examples for the rest of their communities. I look forward to helping to promote our core values at Magowan, as well as having an overall positive impact with our students, staff, and parents. I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of the team.
Thank you and Happy New Year,
Rick Santiago

Because We Are A Team
We have yearbook directors!!!!! Thank you!!!! Below is a link to a yearbook folder. I am asking if you could put in photos of your students as events take place over the year. These could be classroom based activities, field trips, school-wide events, etc. The yearbook is a great point of pride in the district and I can't wait to see what we can create this year!
