Letter from the Principal
Dear Families,
The children are going to enjoy the Sweetheart Slushes for Valentine's Day today and Friday. Thank you to the PTO for providing them. The slushes and the Valentine's Day parties are just a few things we can do to provide a sense of tradition in an untraditional year.
Overall, I continue to be amazed by how well the children are doing, both in school and at home. This doesn't mean that it is easy on anyone. The teachers are working extremely hard to rework their curriculum to meet students' needs and I know that all of you are working just as hard to meet your children's needs. Below, I included an article from the New York Times that tracks three American mothers through the pandemic. Not all of their problems are yours, but there's enough of universal concerns included that I'm betting you can relate to them.
I'm hoping that you enjoy the upcoming vacation and can take a bit of a break from all the demands on you! When we return, Cohort C will start in person learning on that first Wednesday, followed by Cohort B the following week.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Karen
