I am sure most of us are happy to see 2020 behind us. As we focus on the future, I believe it is important to reflect on lessons I have learned over the past year. Patience, flexibility, and perseverance seemed to be the reoccurring lessons I recall. Parents, you have been patient, you have been flexible, and you have persevered thus far.

Principals often brag about their students and staff, and yes I feel I have a lot to brag about in that respect. In reflecting on my first semester this fall, the one group I have been impressed with, but have not yet recognized is our parents/guardians. The phone calls, zoom meetings, and emails I have had with parents has taught me a lot about the resilience and unwavering support our parents have and give to the community and school. As a father of three, I understand what many of you and your students have persevered through. We are on our way back to a sense of normalcy; It won’t happen right away or all at once, but it will inevitably happen!

Picture Retakes January 26th

Picture retakes are for students that did not have their picture taken in the fall or were unhappy with the proofs from the fall. Retakes will take place in the AMS Media Center. Please make sure to have pictures taken to ensure your student is able to receive a student ID.
