First Aid/CPR/AED Training Classes
Provided by the NCESD Workers' Compensation Trust
The North Central Educational Service District Is Now Registered as a Medic First Aid Training Center
The NCESD is pleased to announce that as a Medic First Aid Training Center, we are now offering Medic First Aid PediatricPlus Training in CPR, AED, and First Aid for Children, Infants and Adults.
The PediatricPlus program is an ideal training program for school district staff who need to be prepared to respond to medical emergencies involving children.
The 6-hour training class combines classroom instruction, video, real-time demonstration, and hands-on practice to help students effectively retain the skills needed to respond to a medical emergency. The hands-on skill practice sessions allow students the opportunity to gain valuable experience administering first aid treatment, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) using adult, pediatric and infant manikins and operating an automatic external defibrillator (AED).
Classes are offered using a flexible scheduling format. A district can send employees to one of the classes offered at the NCESD in Wenatchee or schedule a training class to be held in one of their own facilities (student class size: minimum 10; maximum 12).
