A NOTE FROM THE PTA
PTA Hassle-Free Fundraising Drive November 2018 Dear Cooper Elementary Families:
Welcome to the PTA 'Hassle-Free' campaign! Throughcontributions we would like to reach our fundraising goal of
$20,000. This goal equals out to roughly $SO/student. These funds would allow us to not have students become door to door salesmen,i.e. cookie dough, wrapping paper, etc.By asking for monetary donations rather than selling products, the PTA gets 100% of the proceeds rather than at most 50%.The funds raised go to support:
*Reduce cost of field trips by providing $11/student to the teachers
*Help to keep yearbook costs low by paying half the price
*Book Cart, which offers free books monthly to Kindergarteners and First grader
*Family nights, such as Science Night, Dances, and Free Movie Nights
*End of the year Carnival Celebration
**And many more family and student activities and events**
Please consider a contribution to this campaign. Ask friends and family to help 'Sponsor your School Year' vs selling them products. Any donation, big or small, will benefit not only your student but ALL Cooper students. No gift is too small!!
Any contribution, of any size, will be recognized equally.
*The PTA cannot cover every classroom/student expense. The cost of individual field trips and parties will be determined by your teacher.
No pizzas, No wrapping paper, No door-to-door solicitations!
