ConVal High School Happenings - March 4, 2022
Message From Principal McKillop
We ended our day with an all school assembly in our gymnasium. Our Unified basketball team competed hard against our faculty/staff team, and were victorious posting a 44-40 win! Our student spectators were amazing and the gym erupted with noise every time a bucket was scored. I was very proud of our ConVal school community.
Please consider joining us next Thursday for our second semester Open House. We will begin the evening promptly at 6:30 pm. Please see more information below.
If you reference the table of contents directly below this, it will preview the newsletter for you.
As a reminder, our staff will engage in professional development on Monday and Tuesday. We look forward to welcoming students back to the building next Wednesday, March 9th.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Unified Basketball vs Faculty Game During Assembly
In a further return to ConVal traditions, the all-school assembly on March 4 featured the Unified vs Faculty basketball game which had been suspended for two years due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The game got off to a fast start with both teams scoring points, including some 3-pointers. During each of the four playing periods, there were multiple rotations which gave everyone on the Unified and the faculty side opportunities to play.
The game ended with a close final score of 44-40 in favor of the Unified Team.
