Matilda the Musical
The Lenape Players had 4 very successful performances of Matilda the Musical over the weekend! Congratulations to the cast and the crew - their time, hard work, and talent culminated in an absolutely fabulous production. Hats off to Mrs. Jaime Rogers, Mr. Michael O'Hara, and all of the teachers and parents who made Matilda possible!

NJHS Blood Drive
Lenape’s National Junior Honor Society sponsored their second blood drive this year on Monday, February 27.
Even with the bad weather, we exceeded our goal of 34 pints and collected 38 lifesaving pints of blood!
Thank you to all who participated in this very worthy cause.
Coming Soon
HVAC Update
Phase 2 of our HVAC project will begin on Monday, March 13th. This phase involves the closure of classrooms 502, 503, 506, 507, and 508 for a period of 6 weeks and is set to be completed on Friday, April 28th.
Temporary partitions will be built in the 500 hallway to close it between the 100 and 200 hallways. Staff will assist students in finding alternate routes through the building as needed.
Temporary classroom spaces have been built in the auxiliary gym and library to house the displaced classrooms. These spaces have their own furniture, and all of the classroom materials will be moved to the space over the weekend so they are ready to go on Monday.

Laptop Breakage
We have seen a rise in the amount of screen breaks for student laptops. Our policy covers for 2 broken screens per device. If your child’s laptop screen breaks 3 times, we will be required to send you an invoice for the repair and labor. The current cost for this is $200. Please remind your child to care for their laptops. Some simple steps to assist are:
- Use two hands when holding or moving the device.
- Use clean hands while using the laptop or iPad.
- Use only the provided digital pen or finger on the screen.
- Use only the power adapter that came with the device.
- Use a microfiber cloth to clean the screen.
- Keep device stored in the provided case. This includes traveling through the hallways, on buses, or anytime the device is not being utilized.
- Make sure nothing is on the keyboard, close the lid, and remove all cables if any are plugged into the laptop. Place laptop in your bag carefully.
- Be careful when placing your case on the floor. Keep the device off the floor so screens do not get stepped on by others.
