New Projects!
Our staff and clients are always open to trying new things. They are pros at jam making and catnip toy stuffing, and now they are expanding their skills to other creations. Two of our recent endeavors are decorated birdhouses and reclaimed wood snowmen. The birdhouses were started with some of our classes this fall, and we are continuing to work on them. The snowmen are the newest project. Our clients and staff have collected wood, cut it down to size, and re-purposed it into wintry creations - while having lots of fun along the way! Visit us at the upcoming shows to check out their skills. These items will make great presents!

Farewell Until Spring
We have said good-bye to our friends from Crestview, Leetonia, and the Transition Program. The kids and teachers worked on a variety of projects this season. Gardens were cleaned up and prepared for next year, raised beds were added, tables in the back greenhouse were removed, toys were cleaned in the classrooms, jam was made, produce was harvested, catnip toys were stuffed, birdhouses were decorated...the list goes on. We cannot offer enough praise for all who put in so much work here. We are thankful for each and every participant in this program! Now we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back in the spring!

Celebrating with Kitty!
Our Board President, Kitty Kromer, won a prize with her cookies at an event this past weekend. She took home second place for her fancy kiffles filled with our pepper jam. So, in addition to winning awards at the Canfield Fair, our Jungle Jam now earned a cookie award. We are so excited! What surprising way can you use Jungle Jam? Let us know your ideas - we'd love to share them!
Happy Thanksgiving!
In this special season of reflection, where we give thanks for the good things in our lives, we at Goodness Grows give thanks for you. Without your interest in and support of our programs, we wouldn't be here. You probably know the old saying, "It takes a village to raise a child." Well, it also takes a village to run a non-profit! We depend upon your donations of time, supplies, skills, and funding. Without that, we cannot operate and we cannot continue our work with our clients, the classrooms, mission groups, and more. To borrow a quote from President John F. Kennedy, "We must find the time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives." You make a difference. Thank you!
